I just wanted to say that I am still enjoying your site. Thank you for your willingness to share so much of your life with us through the internet.
Mars is just so adorable. How could you not love a face like that?
I hope that you are feeling better now. I know that the flu can be a miserable pest to shake.
I hope that we hear some good news soon about ADB.
Best wishes going out to you, Jane and Mars of course.

Will dgeek nad adogsbreakfast still work? I must say i was really fond of the dgeek domain.

Anyway see you there, and I think you have to attribute at least 1/2 of ur visitors to the fact that mars is so cute.. sorry david... you are awesome,.... but mars is the pulling factor!

It's a great site, don't get me wrong - but we'll miss you around here. A blog will usually be a bit more personal than a big, flash, famous actor-guy's website. *grins*

Actually, I have my computer named "Rodney" - and since I carry it everywhere with me, my boyfriend complains that I spend more time with Rodney than with him:)
...and SGA's Rodney character made me become a scientist...although there is also a lot of trekkie & starwars stuff responsible, I guess...
...happy birthday to you, David:)).
It's good to have you with us:)

I really have loved David's personality on all the You tube items I've watched... panels etc. He's an amazingly talented actor and I adore him.
He has Max so that makes him completely wonderful.

David,
I just wondered if you still post anything here. I just discovered your site by watching a sci-fi interview. Most of the stuff I read was from 2006.

I know with work and home it is hard to do anything extra outside of your busy schedule. Especially in your profession.

I am a Nurse Tech with a BS in Biology. I'm going back to school to get a RN degree. I'm married with a 16 yr old son. So I know life can be hectic.

Anyway I'm sure you don't care to hear about my rambling but I would love to read any new post of yours.

Thanks

Hi,
I have a one question.
I and my sister have a fan website "Stargate" and we want translate news from Your blog, beacuse not all in Poland know english and You have many fans here ;).
Oh, what I give if I can be a Meeting of fans in USA :(

Hello, if you still check this!
I seem to be late for everything lately... I graduated just in time to see the series finale of Stargate and get dumped in a depression, and find this blog, what, 3 years late? heh...
Well, I must say I've been a fan of Stargate since it came out. Dad and I saw the movie in a radioshack and loved it. And while we only got to watch the show every so often, I watched it every chance I got.
I only just finished watching Atlantis. Took me a while to want to watch it, I was an SG-1 girl ^.^ but my coworker made me borrow the whole series and got me and my fiance hooked.
And, believe it or not, Rodney is our favorite character, though with such a talented cast it's near impossible to choose.
meh, I ramble ^.^
But anyway, good job on Stargate!
15 years of being a fan and it's actually over. It's hard to grasp.

Rachel

Hey! I just found out about the SG series a
few months back after discovering my inner nerd via BSG. (thank you, Netflix suggestions). I started with SG-1, got to Season 2 and randomly caught an episode of SGA...been watching it straight for 3 months on DVD, am currently on Disc 3 of Season 5...only to find out that it's CANCELLED :-0 !!!

My best friend will give me hell for this tomorrow (she finds it endlessly amusing that a preppy blonde girl like me loves sci fi), but when I found out I teared up a little bit. I felt like I was just settling in and getting to know the characters, and I was excited about where they were going. Since I watched it in such a condensed way, almost like reading a novel, I became (and am) very attached to the story and the characters. Finding out tonight that the series is cancelled right as I'm nearing the end of this Season is akin to finding out, say, that JK Rowling decided to not make the 7th book as a little * right after (spoiler alert) Dumbledore dies. No resolution. Just a whhhaaaaa. And a, Nooooooooo. This is just about as bad as the cancellation of Firefly, Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies. Whyyyyy must the good shows die young?

OK I'm being dramatic. But man. You did a wonderful job with the character development of Rodney, Mr. Hewlett. Thank you. I am very fond of the character and I hope to see him make an appearance in movie formats of SGA or in the new SG series coming up (there is a new one, right?).

Anyway, thank you for your part in SGA. I appreciate it. And I also appreciate the drinking (diet pepsi) game you inspired with the word "hyperdrive."
